What am I missing right now that a more humble person might see?
Listening to this lately

Hadn’t really thought of Ann Arbor much since moving at the end of June, maybe it’s just because the last ew months have been pretty crazy.
Either way, stumbled across this song and it brought back some good memories.
Happy 27th to Abigail
Happy 27th to Abby – love you and want to remember this moment. We ordered food and then got Dairy Queen.
We also got Hunny groomed today and she smells like apple blossoms (came with a sick bandana too).
While we are postponing, life speeds by.
Beautiful sunset in the mountains
Just felt the need to share this sunset in Fort Collins tonight. Is the day before Abby’s 27th birthday so I thought it was perfectly timed

Month of September thoughts.
A new beginning for my digital thoughts
This is a space for everything — both to stay organized and be messy with thoughts, opinions, and everything else.
Hoping to use this to create a log for my life and that it can grow over time. Ideally, some day it can have all my favorites, inspiration, fleeting thoughts and everything in-between.
Anything before this post is back-dated to share some of my favorite things.
Dinner & a concert in the foothills
Went to a place called Mishawaka tonight for a great burger and a concert. It was a n incredible venue in built into the Side a mountain on top of a river/stream, just truly stunning – only took a photo in the dark which honestly doesn’t really do it justice.
We saw a band named Tophouse that I’d never listened to before but they were actually pretty good – kind of a mix between indie rock and Irish folk.
Stoos Ridge Hike
Did the most beautiful hike (maybe the most beautiful place?) I’ve ever done today in Switzerland.
To get there we took a train from Lucern, then got on a bus, and then a gondola all the way up the the car-free village of Stoos.
From there, it was about a 2 mile (about 2.5 hour) hike up to the top where the views we genuinely unbelievable.
There was a brewery at the top too which was awesome – maybe the best beer I’ve ever had.
Train from Lugano to Lucerne
Took a 2 hour train ride from Lugano (Southern Switzerland) to Lucerne (further north) and it was honestly one of the prettiest journeys I’ve ever taken. the views through the Swiss countryside were almost hard to even believe.
Once we got to Lake Lucerne we got on a boat which took us about 2 hours across the lake to the city of Lucerne.
The water was so blue that is was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. You’d think after a 4 hour day of traveling we’d be sick of it but the views were so incredible that it went fast.
